Town Hall Meetings: School Zone Changes Coming To St. Johns County High Schools

A new high school will soon be built in St. Johns County, which in turn is going to impact the attendance zones of the county’s existing high schools.

Construction is expected to begin soon on what is currently being called High School HHH. It will be built at 11200 St. Johns Parkway at the intersection with International Golf Parkway.

The new high school is expected to open in time for the 2021-2022 academic year.

A proposed zoning plan affects current attendance zones for Allen D. Nease High School, Bartram Trail High School, Creekside High School, Liberty Pines Academy, Mill Creek Academy, Pacetti Bay Middle School, and Switzerland Point Middle School. 

Two town hall meetings have been scheduled to discuss the proposed zone changes along with plans for yet another high school that will be built. It's currently designated High School III.

High School III is in the planning stages and expected to be constructed within three or four years. High School III could affect the current zones for Allen D. Nease High School and Bartram Trail High School.
