If you couldn’t tweet Wednesday morning you had plenty of company.
Twitter and its sister service Tweetdeck started experiencing outages during the overnight hours that continued in Wednesday morning.
At last check, WJCT News was still experiencing issues with Tweetdeck, but was able to tweet on Twitter.
“We’ve been experiencing outages across Twitter and TweetDeck. You might have had trouble Tweeting, getting notifications, or viewing DMs. We’re currently working on a fix, and should be back to normal soon,” Twitter said in a tweet.
Earlier this morning Twitter said the issue was “just about fixed.”

The issue is just about fixed. You should be able to access Twitter as usual. If not, give it a few more minutes! Thanks for waiting.

Tech site Gizmodo reached out to Twitter , asking what caused the issue but had not received an answer at last check.
