UF Health Jacksonville CEO; 'The Black Hand'; Beaches Sea Turtle Patrol

As coronavirus cases keep mounting in Florida, hospitals are working to manage their COVID-19 wards.

They’re also preparing for the Republican National Convention, part of which is scheduled to take place here in Jacksonville later this summer.

Dr. Leon Haley, CEO of UF Health Jacksonville, joined us with more.

St. Augustine author Andy Stack joined us to discuss his new novel, The Black Hand, which is fiction, but reads something like real life.

Beaches Sea Turtle Patrol

Sea turtle nesting season is in full swing, with Beaches Energy, the City of Jacksonville Beach and the Beaches Sea Turtle Patrol launching a public awareness campaign to help as many turtles as possible succeed. 

Called #CleanDarkFlat, the hashtag is an easy way to remember and share on social media what people can do to help the threatened species. Kevin Brown, a volunteer with the Beaches Sea Turtle Patrol and joined us with more information.
