Indictment charges Jax man with attempted murder of federal judge: 24-year-old Aaron K Richardson is charged with firing several rounds from a stolen high powered rifle into the home of U.S. District Judge Timothy Corrigan. He faces life in prison if convicted on all charges.

Repairs to Mathews Bridge expected to cost $3 million, take 40 days: Florida DOT officials say that repairs needed to re-open the Mathews Bridge will cost about $3 million. The bridge closure will be the topic of a town hall meeting today. (Florida Times-Union)

San Jose intersection safety measures discussed: Rabbi Yaakov Fisch, of Etz Chaim Synagogue, where Esther Ohayon and her daughter Orly were walking to when they were struck by a car, discussed safety measures on San Jose Blvd with public safety officials at a meeting yesterday. (News4Jax)
