Fans asked to name new jaguar cub: The Jacksonville Jaguars and the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens have started a contest to name the zoo's newest jaguar cub born last month.

JEA approves new rates for power-dependent businesses: The board of JEA approved a new, lower, incentivized rate for businesses that are dependent on power and create jobs. (Florida Times-Union)

Duval County Public Schools open bullying hotline: Duval students will be able to call and email anonymously to report bullying in school. (First Coast News)

Nineteen percent of Florida students "college ready" on ACT: Only 19 percent of the class of 2013 scored enough on all four ACT tests to be considered "college ready," an increase from last year, but still below the national average of 26 percent. (Orlando Sentinel)

Kaitlyn Hunt bond revoked: Following a hearing in which it was alleged that she violated a court order not to contact her underage girlfriend, teenager Kaitlyn Hunt is back behind bars. (USA Today)
