It’s Friday on the First Coast, and we’ve rounded up the biggest news of the week to discuss with local media pundits. These stories include the governor’s news conference Thursday in Jacksonville, Ju’coby Pittman’s recent public appearances, a City Council vote on Randy DeFoor as general counsel, and the fate of the new congressional redistricting plan.

The Motherhood Space

Baptist Health has launched The Motherhood Space, a new program designed to help mothers during pregnancy and postpartum. The program aims to support moms experiencing maternal mental health challenges.

Dr. Jill Garret, founding psychologist of The Motherhood Space at Baptist Medical Center. and Dr. Terrie Andrews, vice president of behavioral health and director of clinical training at Baptist, have more details.
