Cindy Watson, CEO of theJacksonville Area Sexual Minority Youth Network is retiring after nearly 30 years leading the network.

JASMYN is committed to providing assistance to the younger LGBTQ+ individuals living in Northeast Florida.

Watson joins us to talk about her plans.

Valiant Soldiers

Thomas Graham, professor emeritus of history at Flagler College, discusses his book, Valiant Soldiers: St. Augustine’s Men of Color in the Age of Civil War and Reconstruction.

The St. Augustine Historical Society and Flagler College will host Graham lecturing about his book on Nov. 2. Tickets are available here.

JU Climate Innovation Challenge

Jacksonville University’s first Climate Innovation Challenge will take place Tuesday. Five finalists will compete for grants in a Shark Tank-style grant competition showcasing their projects.
