Kerr-McGee cleanup
It has been over 45 years since the closure of Jacksonville’s most polluted industrial site, yet substantial cleanup efforts are still underway. The anticipated change is set for this spring, and in the next two days, local residents will have the chance to voice their opinions

Duval Teacher of the Year
This year, close to 200 educators in Duval County vied for the prestigious Teacher of the Year title. Gustavo Guzman, with only two years of teaching experience at Terry Parker High School, won the 2024 Teacher of the Year award. Gustavo joins us in studio to share his personal education journey and explain what inspired him to become an educator.
Hadestown
Next week, the Tony Award-winning musical Hadestown makes its debut in Jacksonville, and we got the chance to talk to the actor portraying the lead character, Hades. Matthew Patrick Quinn discusses the upcoming play, which is part of the Florida State College at Jacksonville Artist Series.
