An iconic neighborhood market reopens at the corner of Florida Avenue and 5th Street after serving the community for more than 90 years before closing in 2011. The renovated and re-envisioned two-story market will serve what’s been a food desert OutEast for more than a decade. It will also serve as a community resource center, building on the legacy of a storied family business.
