Excitement over a local women’s pro soccer team reached a fever pitch last week, as Sporting Club Jacksonville announced a deal to play its inaugural 2025/26 season at the University of North Florida’s Hodges Stadium. The Division 1 USL Super League will be Jacksonville’s first women’s pro soccer team and promises to change the North Florida landscape for women in sport.
