Florida is likely a long-shot at becoming known as the founding state of the next Snapchat or Instagram, according to a new report.
Cities in the Sunshine State missed the cut on a new list of the nation's top metro regions with the most tech startups. Colorado took four spots, including the number one metro for tech startups, Boulder, Colo.
The list is from a report by technology policy coalition Engine and entrepreneurship research association the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. It was published in Entrepreneur Magazine.
Only a few regions in the south made the list; Raleigh and Durham N.C. and Huntsville, Ala.
