The Duval Soil and Water Conservation is looking to fill a position on its board in the Nov. 8 general election.
James Joseph Morton and Hunter Anderson are battling for one open seat in Group 2. Nelson Greene, who ran unopposed for the Group 4 seat, will not appear on the ballot.
Board Chairman Shannon Smith said voters are at a disadvantage when it comes to learning about candidates.
“There has always been a real issue with trying to you know learn a little bit more about the background of the soil and water candidates.”
