George Zimmerman is seen defending his shooting and killing 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in a new video his attorney posted online Monday.

A Central Florida jury acquitted the neighborhood watchman of murder in the 2012 killing, and just last month, the U.S. Justice Department said it lacks evidence to prosecute him for a hate crime.

In the video, Zimmerman's lawyer, Howard Iken, asks whether he regrets the shooting.

"Do you wish it had turned out different?" Iken asked.

Michael Dunn was found guilty of first-degree murder Wednesday in the 2012 shooting death of 17-year-old Jordan Davis.

the mothers of Trayvon Martin and Jordan Davis testified on Capitol Hill Tuesday, asking a panel of U.S. Senators to amend Stand Your Ground self-defense laws they say contributed to the shooting deaths of their teenage sons.

Florida is one of 22 states with a Stand Your Ground statute that says there is no duty to retreat from an armed attacker.

U.S. Senators Tuesday sparred on Capitol Hill over Florida’s Stand Your Ground law. The Congressional hearing to review the law also included personal testimony from some affected by it.

The families of two teenage shooting victims whose cases have become critical in the debate over Florida's controversial "Stand Your Ground" law are in Washington today.

Sybrina Fulton, the mother of Trayvon Martin, and Lucia McBath, mother of Jordan Davis testified this morning at a hearing before a subcommittee of the U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary.

At least 22 states have some form of the law, which generally cancels a person's duty to retreat in the face of a serious physical threat.
