Most of Florida could see a wet Labor Day weekend, with the East Coast facing tropical-storm force or stronger winds from Tropical Storm Dorian.

As Labor Day approaches, gas prices are near the lowest level of the summer. And even with the threat of Tropical Storm Dorian, AAA officials say they are not expected to rise.

Dorian has strengthened into a hurricane near St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands and could become a Category 3 storm when it makes its projected landfall in Florida late Sunday night or early Monday.

Forecasters say it's still too early to know with certainty where will hurricane Dorian land in Florida — but it's never too late to assemble your hurricane emergency kit.
