JEA To Pay Out Fuel Credit To Customers In October

Jacksonville electricity users will be getting some money back on next month’s bill.

JEA customers will see a fuel credit based on their October electric consumption. The average fuel credit is projected to be about $60. The amount will vary by household.

According to a JEA news release, the credit is a result of JEA’s diversifying its power sources, which include coal and natural gas. Fuel-cost savings are then passed on to customers.

JEA issued similar credits in April, last July and in April of 2013.
