Next week, the JAX Chamber is hosting a first of its kind event discussing a fascinating and controversial topic, drone aircraft.Advocates for drones say they could bring hundreds of new jobs to the region, but opponents have concerns drones in the sky could lead to unchecked surveillance by government agencies.

The Unmanned Systems Forum is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 17 at the downtown Hyatt Regency at Jacksonville Riverfront.

Brent Klavon of Jacksonville-based Aviation Systems Engineering Company joined First Coast Connect for a preview.
