Well events are going on all this month to celebrate the 450th anniversary of Fort Caroline in Jacksonville.

The anniversary celebrates the year when French settlers first made contact with indigenous peoples along the banks of the St. Johns River.

There are a number of events and exhibits going on to mark the occasion.

Local attorney Michael Fisher and volunteer Joanelle Mulrain joined Melissa Ross for more on the month-long celebration.
