JCCI

Jacksonville Community Council, Inc. (JCCI) recently launched their latest initiative, Re-Think Aging. This citizen-based inquiry aims to give the public a chance to influence decisions on all aspects of our local quality of life that affect mobility and independence for seniors, everything from housing to transportation. We speak with Ben Warner, CEO of JCCI, and Earl Evens, executive director of the AgeWell Institute, with Baptist Health.

Michelle Branham of the Central & North Florida Chapter of Alzheimer’s Association joins to discuss how the new Julianne Moore film "Still Alice" is bringing more awareness to the disease.

We also speak with Cultural Council of Great Jacksonville communications manager Daniel Austin about the group's 39th Annual Art Awards to honor local artists.

And our sports contributor Cole Pepper joins us with the latest news about the Daytona 500, the Jacksonville Jaguars and more.
