Jacksonville’s downtown sports complex will be a hotbed of activity Thursday night.
The Jaguars’ preseason gets underway at TIAA Bank Field with a game against the New Orleans Saints.
The gates open at 5 p.m., kickoff is at 7 p.m.
Plus, the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp face the Mississippi Braves at the Baseball Grounds. The first pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.

Authorities urge motorists headed to the stadium to give themselves extra time to get there and find parking.
JTA’s Game Day X-press Shuttle will start running at 5 p.m. shuttles will also be operating between the stadium and the Prime Osborn Convention Center.
