City Rescue Mission

The City Rescue Mission serves the homeless and addicted in Downtown Jacksonville, and now participants in one of its programs will have a place to work out.The new Road to Redemption exercise facility officially opens Tuesday, Dec. 15 at the Mission’s New Life Inn on State Street Downtown.

The gym is a gift from Travis and Laura Smith in honor of her brother, who graduated from Life-builders — the City Rescue Mission’s long-term residential addiction recovery program.
