The University of North Florida plans a study to analyze the conditions for renters in Duval County and to advocate for solutions to critical issues.
The University's Northeast Florida Center for Community Initiatives is looking for community involvement in the Jax Rental Housing Project. The project wants to hear renters' experiences with housing and landlords as well as ideas for improvements.
UNF students, faculty, and community members will work to expand public awareness and shape public policy, based in part on housing policies that have worked in other communities.
