Four months after the president of the Northside Coalition of Jacksonville was arrested during a City Council meeting, two of the charges against him have been dropped.

Ben Frazier faced charges of trespassing, resisting a police officer and obstruction of proceedings before city agencies after he was removed from the meeting in handcuffs on Dec. 13.

Frazier was speaking against Confederate monuments on city property and refused to stop when his speaking time expired.

The trespassing and resisting charges were dropped. Frazier pleaded no contest to the third charge and was fined $50.
