F-18 Pilots Will Be Practicing This Weekend

It’s going to get noisier than usual this weekend for folks in the Whitehouse area.

The Navy says F-18 pilots will be honing their day-and-night-time aircraft carrier landing skills at Naval Outlying Field Whitehouse west of Jacksonville.

The hours of increased fighter jet activity are expected to be from 4 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday.

Outlying Field Whitehouse is a satellite-airfield of Naval Air Station Jacksonville.
