New Year, New Weather Pattern for Florida

Viriditas

2015 ended with unprecedented warmth across the state, but with the start of the new year comes a new weather pattern. The Florida Public Radio Emergency Network and WGCU have been tracking the strong El Nino all fall, and Meteorologist Jeff Huffman says its influence is now very evident.

With the active pattern, Huffman also says there is an increased risk for severe weather and tornadoes this winter.
