Antiques Roadshow Crew Comes To Jacksonville

Kevin Meerschaert

The crew of the popular PBS program Antiques Roadshow is in Jacksonville this weekend for a taping of the show at the Prime Osborn Center.

Host Mark Walberg says the great part about hosting the show is you never know what will the be the next great piece coming into the door.

Walberg and the Roadshow Crew visited Norman Studios in Arlington Friday morning. He says he enjoys visiting places that are part of the history of a community that few people know about.

Norman Studios was a major production company during movies silent era and was unique in using African-American actors in positive non-stereotypical roles.

All tickets available to tomorrow’s Antiques Roadshow taping have been distributed.

The episodes recorded in Jacksonville are scheduled to air next season.
