The New York Daily News is reporting that actor James Gandolfini has died of a massive heart attack at the age of 51.
The New Jersey-born actor is best known for his role as mob boss Tony Soprano on the long running HBO drama The Sopranos, a role that earned him three Emmy awards.
According to reports, the actor was attending a film festival in Italy at the time of his death. He is survived by a wife and two children.
