It's an end-of-summer celebration of Shakespeare in San Marco.
The "Summer Classics in San Marco" series returns to Theatre Jacksonville with Shakespeare’s As You Like It on stage August 23rd through September 7th.
"We're very excited to bring the Bard back to Theatre Jax," says Executive Director Sarah Boone.
As You Like It is one of Shakespeare’s most beloved comedies, celebrating pastoral romance with cross-dressing; love notes; poetry, brilliant conversation, gentle satire, slapstick and passion.
The cast includes Mike Beaman, Co’Relous Bryant, Al Emerick, Geoffrey King, Seth Langner, May Lee, Rakia May, Tracy Olin, Miles Para, David Raines, Neal Thorburn, Matt Tompkins, Thomas Trauger, Jason Woods, Jonathon Yates and Kristen Yates. The show is directed by Laura Rippel.
