Hot Ticket: Art, Music and Hunting?

Flagler College
Crisp-Eller Art Museum

Hey arts and culture lovers, there is lots to do as always this weekend.

Have you ever heard of St. Augustine? It's an old city just south of Duval, where they too have arts and culture. You can meet artist Shannon Estlund and get a walkthrough of her new exhibition: "Between Here and There," at the Crisp-Elert Art Museum. Walkthrough starts at 4 p.m. this afternoon.

From 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday check out the Cummer Museum's "Art For Two Animal Hunt." First you find the animals in the collection, then its back to studio to create a cool animal mask. The event is only for children ages 3 to 5 years old accompanied by their favorite adult.

Don't miss Grammy-nominated jazz pianist and composer Uri Caine, who will fly in from NYC to greet you with a Sunday afternoon of jazz, classical, avant-garde jams. He is guaranteed to rock you like a Uri Caine. The event is at the Main Library, from 3-4:30 p.m. Sunday.

Tony Allegretti is the executive director of Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville.
