Void’s Great American Sip n’ Slide
Start celebrating America’s birthday a few days early at the Void’s Great American Sip n’ Side. Starting at 5 p.m. Saturday, adults ages 21 and older will have access to Shipwreck Island at Adventure Landing Waterpark in Jacksonville Beach. Live music by Zach Deputy starts at 6 p.m and early bird tickets are currently on sale for $15. Leave your bags at home as they will not be allowed in the park. Beer and wine will be served. All proceeds will go to Combat2College.
Jacksonville Fourth of July Celebration
Celebrate July 4 at the Shipyards, 735 East Bay Street, with live entertainment, games for the kids and an incredible fireworks show. There will be a waterslide, giant Jenga, a three-legged race and many other activities for the whole family. Don’t forget to get some of the barbeque that will be prepared on site.
Red White and Deep Blue Celebration
The sixth annual Red White and Deep Blue Celebration on Amelia Island offers a family friendly evening of live music and games. Enjoy the celebration of Independence Day with a southern inspired gourmet dinner, with fireworks following at 9:15 p.m. The All-American dinner includes fried chicken, local seafood and steak. Tickets are $99 per adult and cost for children ages 3 to 12 are $29. The party will be held at the Ritz Carlton Amelia Island, 4750 Amelia Island Parkway in Fernandina Beach.
Celebrate Independence Day in the heart of Jacksonville. The Jacksonville Landing hosts the All American Party. Live music by Brittney Lawrence and the Guys will start at 3 p.m., followed by Broke till Friday jamming out from 8:30 p.m. until 1 a.m. The fireworks start at 9:45 p.m. and there will be plenty of locations to view them from, including the Northbank and SouthbankRiverwalk, Friendship Fountain, the Riverside Arts Market and Metropolitan Park.
Music lovers can rejoice this Friday night as Sublime with Rome, Dirty heads, Tribal Seeds, and Bleeker fill the amphitheater with feel-good reggae beats and electric sounds. Sublime with Rome will surely have a set list packed with the group's hits, including tracks from their most recent release “Sirens.” Gates open at 5 p.m. and the concert begins at 6:05 p.m. Tickets range from $34.50 to $59.50 and can be purchased through the St. Augustine’s website as well as Ticketmaster. Gather your friends and let the sounds of summer take you away.
