Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox
Scott Bradlee is an American composer who got his start in jazz before turning to pop music. His Postmodern Jukebox combines today’s hits and an old school sound. The project has millions of views on YouTube thanks to covers of Meghan Trainor’s “All About That Bass,” and Radiohead’s “Creep.” Tickets start at $40.

Florida’s largest annual Oktoberfest is back, from Oct. 14-16 at the Jacksonville Beach Sea Walk Pavilion. The Beaches Oktoberfest is a family friendly festival, featuring live music, food, games, beer and much more. Admission is free, but concert attendees must purchase a ticket. Musical guests include The Movement, Blues Traveler and Collie Buddz. Gates open at 6 p.m. Friday, and 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. For more information, visit BeachesOktoberfest.com.

The Bold City Cigar Festival is being held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday at the Jacksonville Landing. Cigar enthusiasts will be able to mingle while trying out some new cigars, drink local craft beers and eat delicious foods from local restaurants. Tickets for those wanting to participate in the festivities are $20 for general admission or $30 for one hour early admission.

Experience a day of yoga- at the Riverside Arts Market, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. A variety of different forms of yoga will be taught throughout the event. Participants are asked to bring their own yoga mats and they will have the chance to be taught by instructors from different yoga studios. There will be 3 different stages. Be sure to check out the schedule. The event is free, but donations are welcome. All proceeds go to the Veterans Alternative Organization.

Jacksonville Zombie Walk invites people to bring their walking dead fantasies to life at the ZombieFest 2016. The event runs from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at Hemming Park, followed by the annual Jacksonville Zombie Walk, beginning at 7 pm. There will be food vendors, make-up artists, special guests, a costume contest, a “Thriller” dance and other activities for the undead. The event is free, but in honor of domestic violence awareness month they are asking people to bring two or more non-perishable food items to benefit the Hubbard House.
