Tracy Morgan “Picking up the Pieces Tour”
Veteran comedian Tracy Morgan is coming to Jacksonville’s Thrasher-Horne Center for the Arts on Saturday. Morgan was a “Saturday Night Live” cast member and a star in NBC’s Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning “30 Rock.” The show begins at 7:30 p.m. and tickets range in price from $43 to $73.

Jacksonville Anheuser-Busch Tour Center Veterans Day Celebrations Jacksonville
Celebrate Veterans Day with Anheuser-Busch. Military personnel receive a free Budweiser Beermaster tour starting at 10 a.m. Friday. Active and retired military members can bring a guest for $20. On the Beermaster tour guests can visit the Brew Hall, Primary Fermentation Cellar, Lager Cellar, Packaging Facility, Quality Assurance and Finishing Cellar. Those who are ages 21 and older can also enjoy a sample directly from a finishing tank. Veterans and active military members will receive a free custom-made commemorative Budweiser military coin while supplies last.

Artists across many different mediums will be speaking at a lecture series titled “The Curated Life.” The event is at the Museum of Contemporary Art in collaboration with TEDxJacksonville and Art(Re)Public from 1p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The theme for the event is expression of the collective creative consciousness through a chosen art form. Speakers include: Krista Kim, René Romero Schuler,Sylmarie Rivera Ruiz, Pola Orellana and Mark McCombs. JaMario Stills will moderate the event and Toni Hernandez is the keynote speaker. Tickets are $10.

The city of Jacksonville is honoring all veterans and active-duty members of the military with the 2016 Veterans Day parade Friday. The parade begins at 11 a.m. outside of EverBank Field on Gator Bowl Boulevard/Bay Street, and ends at the Prime Osborn Convention Center. Several viewing areas will be open along Bay Street, near the Landing, and on Water Street. More than 5,000 members of the military, veteran groups, marching bands and JROTC units are expected with decorative floats and giant balloons.

St. Johns Town Center Holiday Spectacular
The St. Johns Town Center is holding its 11th annual holiday spectacular from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday. There will be musical performances, oversized games, an interactive hot chocolate station, jugglers, caricature artists, ornament decorating and more. The event will conclude with lighting of a 32-foot tree and fireworks. Local retailers will offer holiday shopping opportunities, in-store promotions and specials throughout the weekend.
