Less than two years after moving into a brick-and-mortar location, a former Jacksonville food truck is getting national recognition.
Corner Taco, which is located near Five Points, was named one of the top 100 restaurants by rating site Yelp. It’s the only restaurant in Jacksonville on the list.
The honor came because of its customer service, said Corner Taco founder Chris Dickerson, who responds to most of the reviews posted about his eatery.
Of course, the food helps as well; most of Dickerson's tacos are made from locally sourced ingredients.
So what’s next for Corner Taco? Dickerson said he’s been looking for opportunities to expand, with the Beaches or San Marco being possible locations.
