The legal marketplace in Jacksonville is about to get a little bit more crowded.
A Birmingham, Alabama-based law firm with offices in five states in the Southeast said Monday it has opened a Jacksonville office.
Burr & Forman has about 300 attorneys, with 90 of them licensed in Florida. Three of those attorneys are now in Jacksonville, with Burr & Forman picking up three Rogers Towers attorneys.
The local office will be led by one of them, Adrian Rust.
In coming weeks, Rust said, the firm plans to hire another 17 attorneys.
That would make them the 15th biggest law firm in the city.
