A Jacksonville-based restaurant company is changing its advertising as it looks to expand internationally.
Firehouse Subs have longed featured the founding Sorensen brothers in their ads. Now, though, those ads are changing as the chain tweaks its brand.
The new ads, by Marc USA Chicago, feature more humor, a new tagline and new characters. Although the company went national with its advertising last year, those ads didn’t boost sales as much as was hoped for.
The company is still on a roll, though: Firehouse will soon cross the one thousand store milestone and is planning to open a location in Mexico this year.
