If you’re in the market for a new home or an investment project, one web site suggests checking out properties in Jacksonville’s Arlington area.

RealtyTrac, an online real estate information publication, said the 32211 ZIP code is No. 4 on its list of the 35 best “down-and-out” neighborhoods in which to buy.

Analysts with RealtyTrac ran the numbers for 3,561 ZIP codes around the country.

They looked at factors like home prices, school grades, construction loans, returns on flipped properties and the size of the millennial population to figure out which markets are rebounding.

Topping the list of what it calls the best “bad” neighborhoods for real estate investment is East Saint Louis, Missouri (62206), followed by ZIP codes in Baltimore (21218); Charlotte, North Carolina (28206); Jacksonville (32211); and Plainfield, New Jersey (07060).
