Public meeting for new aircraft stationed at NAS Jax tonight: Military officials are seeking public comment to complete an environmental impact report on the new P-8A Poseidon aircraft being stationed in Jacksonville at a meeting scheduled for this evening. (WJCT)

Federal judges critical of state transparency in lethal injection, asks inmates to refile suit with more evidence: A panel of federal judges gave attorneys for seven Florida death row inmates 60 days to provide expert testimony on the potential harm of using a new drug as part of the state's lethal injection cocktail. Jacksonville tour operator charged as stolen school buses recovered: Alphonso Rock, owner of 95 South Tours, was charged with the theft of at least eight school buses following the discovery of the stolen buses being used as shuttles during last weekend's Florida-Georgia game. (News4Jax)

Sanford reverses firearm restriction for neighborhood watch volunteers: The police chief in Sanford has reversed an order that prohibited civilian neighborhood watch volunteers from carrying guns on patrol. (Reuters)

State House expected to uphold Stand Your Ground with vote: Florida's House of Representatives is expected to vote down a measure to repeal the state's controversial "Stand Your Ground" self defense law in session later today. (Fox News)

Forged documents in inmate escape produced in prison: Authorities say the falsified documents that led to a manhunt for two convicted murderers last month were generated at Franklin Correctional Institution with the help of several accomplices. (NBC News)

Democratic field clear for Sink Congressional campaign: Jessica Ehrlich has left the race to fill the seat left vacant by the death of Florida U.S. Rep. Bill Young, leaving Alex Sink as the only Democratic candidate. (Washington Post)

WJCT News Director Karen Feagins (@karenfeagins) will be a guest on The Takeaway with John Hockenberry this afternoon discussing the debate on renaming Jacksonville's Nathan Bedford Forrest High School. The Takeaway airs today 2-3 p.m.
