The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens is inviting everyone to come out Saturday and welcome its first tiger cub in 35 years.
The 18-pound Sumatran tiger has been kept from public view since her birth at the end of November.
Zoo officials say they’ll announce the cub’s name when she makes her debut.
The zoo also has a wish list on Amazon for anyone who might want to send the cub a gift.
Sumatran tigers are native to the island of Sumatra in Indonesia.
According to the World Wildlife Fund, fewer than 400 Sumatran tigers remain in the wild.
