In a letter to parents today, Bradford County School District Superintendent Chad Farnsworth said Starke Elementary School will be closed effective Friday due to elevated concerns of mold in the building.
The closure comes following an air quality check that revealed that areas of the school did not meet district standards for environmental quality.
Classes will resume at alternate locations on Tuesday, Sept. 3. Parents will be notified of the changes via mail, telephone, and the district's website.
