Three $1,200 college scholarships are available from Florida’s election supervisors.
To be eligible, a student must be a junior enrolled at a Florida college or university; registered to vote; and majoring in business, political science, mass communications or journalism.
A Clay County Election Supervisor spokeswoman says those are the fields that align best with supervisors' purpose.
An application for the scholarship is available through the Clay County Election Supervisor’s website.
Each county’s supervisor will select a finalist. Three winners will be chosen statewide. The deadline to apply is mid-March.
