What Are You Looking For In A Duval County School Board Member?

Twelve candidates have qualified to run for Duval County School Board.

In order to appear on the ballot, candidates either raised at least $1,678.64 or collected around 800 petition signatures.

 

In districts 1 and 3, incumbents Cheryl Grymes and Chair Ashley Smith Juarez have both qualified and are running unopposed.

Two other seats are up for grabs.

District 5 Voters will have four candidates to choose from: Bradford Hall, former Jacksonville City Councilman Warren Jones, Brenda Jordan and Hank Rogers will all be on the ballot.

And District 7 voters will have six choices: Melody Bolduc, Stacie Dern, Lori Hershey, Greg Tison, Barbara Toscano and John Turner have all qualified.
