Duval School District Announces Dates For Hurricane Irma Make Up Days

Duval County Public Schools will making up for the six instructional days that students were off due to Hurricane Irma.

The following dates were approved by the school board during its October third meeting:

  • February 2 is now a full instructional day. Previously it was listed as a Weather Day. 

Six early release days will now be now full instructional days:

  • November 1
  • November 15
  • January 17
  • February 28
  • March 14
  • May 16

Two of the six days were declared a State Emergency by the state of Florida and waived, according to the school district.
