Ever Wonder How District Dollars Are Spent At Each Duval School?

Soon parents and caretakers will be able to see how dollars are spent at their child’s school and all the other public schools in Duval County.

School Board Chair Paula Wright said right now a dashboard on each school’s website shows information like test scores, graduation rates and school climate surveys.

Wright said the update will add a per-school financial chart that’ll show, “how much money that particular school receives and how they’re using those funds,” she said.

She said the board wants to send a message of transparency and dispel any question of inequities.

“Each school will receive funding based upon student enrollment,” Wright said.

Although the dashboards currently show how funding is generally divided up in the district, spending data for each individual school will be up in the next week or so.

Parents and students can locate their school’s website here.
