Conflicting appeals court rulings over the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare, have thrown the law’s future into an uncertain status. Both rulings came down yesterday. One ruling upheld Obamacare subsidies in a victory for the White House. The other dealt a blow to the president’s signature health law by striking them down for millions of Americans covered through HealthCare.gov.
How this all plays out will likely have a major effect on Floridians, who could see insurance premium hikes of up to 90 percent.
The basic issue at hand is tax credits for health coverage and just who is entitled to them.
