The Jacksonville Transportation Authority is undergoing an overhaul to meet the demands of 21st century commuters.
It’s part of an overall five-year plan to boost Jacksonville’s economy and adapt to changing transit needs. In particular, JTA is changing the way it runs its buses. It’s called ROI, or the Route Optimization Initiative.
JTA CEO Nat Ford and Brad Thoburn, vice president of long range planning and system development joined Melissa Ross to discuss the new initiative.
