Forget the ice cream truck. if Florida marijuana entrepreneurs and health regulators get their way a truck carting medicinal cannabis could be coming to a street near you.The purveyors of Charlotte’s Web, the marijuana strain approved by lawmakers earlier this year for treating sick children, want to put the product on trucks and take it directly to the consumer. The potential pot-mobile plans comes the same week as a new poll found 88 percent of Floridians support legalizing medical marijuana, and more than half of those polled support full legalization.

Joining us on our regular Friday media roundtable to discuss this and other stories is our panel of local journalists:

Additional topics include the addition of another hour of instruction at some Duval elementary schools, the leak of campaign documents from Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Michelle Nunn, the legal developments for the teen charged with torturing a protected tortoise and the Top Chef winner who is opening a restaurant in Jacksonville's Brooklyn neighborhood.
