No Plans? No Problem! Things To Do This Weekend On The First Coast

Riverside Avondale Night Trolley

Trolleys and ferries are running this weekend on the First Coast.

Friday, August 1 and Saturday, August 2 – The Downtown Night Trolley will conduct a special trial weekend connecting the Riverside Avondale Night Trolley with a special Downtown loop. The Downtown Night Trolley will ferry passengers from Riverside’s Five Points to stops all throughout Downtown. Get more info online.

Saturday, August 2 – The annual Painting of the Paws will do down Bay Street on Saturday. Also Saturday night, the Jaguars Fan Entertainment Zone will be open prior to the Jags scrimmage game, which will be followed by fireworks. The scrimmage is free, but you must RSVP online and bring ID.

Saturday, August 2 – Victory Casino Cruises Jacksonville presents the Third Annual Ferry Fest, featuring food trucks, live music and local artists. Free ferry rides for cars and people from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. More info on Facebook.
