There has been a recent string of deaths due to child abuse in Northeast Florida.
At least three children have died at Wolfson Children’s Hospital in the past week after suffering from apparent abuse, according to hospital officials.
These tragedies has health care professionals urgently sending out the call for education and awareness.

Aubin, President of Wolfson Children’s Hospital, Dr. Randell Alexander, chief of Child Protection and Forensic Pediatrics at UF Health, and Dr. Solange Benjamin-Thorpe, medical director of UF Health's Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, joined Melissa Ross to discuss the signs of child abuse and what can be done to prevent it.
