Kids-centered legislation

Several members of the Duval Delegation play major roles during this year's legislative session in new measures focused on the state's children, affecting everything from public education to juvenile justice.

We speak with Sen. Audrey Gibson (D-Jacksonville), Rep. Charles McBurney (R-Jacksonville), and Rep. Mia Jones (D-Jacksonville) about their efforts.

Jessie Ball duPont Center and the Northeast Florida nonprofit community

The Jessie Ball duPont Center is a thriving nonprofit center housed in the building that was formerly the famed Haydon Burns Library. Dr. Sherry Magill, president of the Jessie Ball duPont Fund, joins us to discuss their organization's work in transforming the building.

We also speak with Rena Coughlin, president of the Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida, about the results of their new survey covering benefits and compensation in this area's nonprofit community.
