Empire Point Investment Club
They’ve been meeting once a week, every month, since 1958.
The Empire Point Investment Club in Jacksonville’s St. Nicholas neighborhood claims to be the longest continually running stock club in America.
The club is made up of 22 elected members, and has had the same basic format for nearly 60 years: one hour of cocktails, one hour for dinner and one hour for business.
The club just celebrated its 700th meeting.
