Monday on First Coast Connect we spoke with Florida Coastal School of Law professors Ericka Curran and Kara Roberts on the school’s upcoming Citizenship Day (01:09).  

This month’s First Coast Success featured real estate leader Heyward Cantrell (23:20).

Citizenship Day

Florida Coastal School of Law will be hosting its 11th Annual Citizenship Day on April 7th.

Citizenship Day is is a collaborative effort giving the city of Jacksonville one of the largest Citizenship Days in the country. It consistently assists more than 100 immigrants in the community each year.

Generation W

The annual Generation W Rise and Shine Event is set for April 13. It’s a program of thought provoking topics, creating greater awareness and understanding of the relevant and resonant issues of our time and the action steps available to affect change.

Florida State fell just short of making the Final Four by losing to Michigan 58-54.

The Players Championship is moving back to March for 2019.

Clay High School alum and Florida Gators swimmer Caeleb Dressel is ruling the pool. Over the weekend at the NCAA Championships, Dressel became the first American man to swim the 50 free in under 20 seconds and then set the world record in the 100 free, becoming the first human to break 40 seconds-touching the wall at 39.90.
